your blood sugar with a meter is key to managing your diabetes. This easy procedure is taught with plenty of time available
for you to practice your new skill as needed. Basic meal planning is discussed.
Information regarding timing of food intake and increasing awareness of the amount of food eaten is provided. Basic Carbohydrate
Counting/Exchange is explained. Eating out and the use of alcohol are discussed. Recognizing and treating low blood sugar
and high blood sugar is included.
